We’re guitar players. Let’s be honest. We crave praise. We love being the best player in the room. It’s a great feeling when all of the preparation you’ve done in your life brings you to that point of mastery…When you have the confidence to play without fear…it’s a trap…
The need to achieve, to be the best player in the room can get in the way of real progress. We start avoiding situations that take us out of our comfort zone. We avoid the embarrassment of possibly making mistakes. Once this mindset gets a hold on us, it can turn into a narrowing of your playing experience. Slowly you start taking gigs that are only safe, and soon that feeling of being the best in the room isn’t enough to satisfy you, and then the whole experience starts to suffer. Read moreRead More

Trii Klops has given me the opportunity to play a lot of the music I grew up listening to, but haven’t had a chance to perform until now. A lot of Rhoads era Ozzy, some Dokken, Van Halen etc. We’ve had a blast at our gigs. More dates to announce soon.Read More
I’m happy to announce the debut of my live band will be June 2nd at The Hub. I’m incredibly blessed to be playing with such skillful musicians with a great attitude about woodshedding this challenging music. Rehearsals have been an absolute blast! Doors are at 8:00 PM. The Travis Larson Band and Carl Roa Band will also be performing, and then the three of us will get up and play a short set together. I can’t wait!

Lots of news to announce today.
Gigs: . Been rehearsing in earnest with the new live band. The band will feature Douglas Baldwin on Guitar, Harold Skeete on Bass, and Ricky Martinez on Drums. New shows to announce very shortly, as well as new dates with Peter Gusmano, including a show at BB King’s July 10th. Playing BB’s is always a blast and this show will feature a giveaway of a custom Nash guitar with autographs from members of Metallica, Supertramp, Def Leppard, and many others. It’s a one of kind instrument and it’ll be a show for the ages.
Studio Devil Software: I’m very happy to announce a new endorsement with Studio Devil. This is some incredible-sounding amp modeling software! Writing some presets and working on some demo videos for them featuring the Amp Modeler Pro and the Virtual Bass Amp Pro software. Their software captures so much more of the intangible character of playing through a real amp. Check it out!.
New Album: Also, been writing in earnest and started production on a follow-up to Pathos and Logos. This is my most ambitious writing so far.
Studio Upgrades: This winter we upgraded the studio significantly with the Black Lion Audio Signature Mod to the Digi002. The upgrade sounds absolutely stunning. Every mixing project has had more depth and transparency as a result.Read More
